The Utah Jazz continue their battle for supremacy in the NBA’s Western Conference during a busy week eight of the regular season. Expect there to be a plethora of basketball betting online throughout the week with one of the best teams in the entire league playing three tough games.

Latest Utah Jazz News

The Utah Jazz should have their entire roster available to them throughout week eight, apart from 28-year-old Royce O’Neale. The forward last played against the New Orleans Pelicans on November 26th before injuring his ankle. He was forced to miss action in week seven as a result but has been back practicing with the team.

It remains to be seen if O’Neale will be able to return to the court, but even if he does he’ll likely have his minutes limited as a precautionary measure. Utah have done a good job with managing their minutes throughout the campaign and are fortunate to have stayed healthy throughout the early part of the campaign.

Week 8 Utah Jazz Preview

The Utah Jazz head into a difficult week eight in the NBA regular season competing for top spot in the Western Conference. While they have failed to keep pace with the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns, they are not far behind.

However, Utah have failed to possess the consistency of the two aforementioned sides, but know they are just as talented a side. Led by Rudy Gobert, who is averaging over 15 points and 14 rebounds per game, the Jazz have the skill and depth to compete with any team in the NBA.

Gobert is far from the only threat the Jazz possess, with 25-year-old Donovan Mitchell also having an incredible season. Averaging over 23 points per game, Mitchell has been Utah’s biggest offensive weapon and will need to continue to play the way he has been if the Jazz are going to reach their objectives.

The Jazz have reached the playoffs for the last five consecutive seasons, but haven’t made it past the second round since they lost in the Western Conference championship to the San Antonio Spurs in 2007. They will be desperate to make a playoff push this year, but know they need to do well in the regular season in order to gain home court advantage throughout the postseason.

Utah Jazz at Minnesota Timberwolves Picks

The Utah Jazz visit the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center on Wednesday night in a game they will be looking forward to. The Jazz should have no issues picking up the victory on the road against an inferior opponent. The over is also worth laying money on in this one as well.

Utah Jazz at Philadelphia 76ers Picks

The Philadelphia 76ers welcome the Jazz to the Well Fargo Center on Thursday evening. Both teams will be playing the second half of a back-to-back, but it’ll also be the 76ers third game in four nights. Go with Utah to pick up another big win away from home.

Utah Jazz at Washington Wizards Picks

The Jazz play their third consecutive road game of the week when they visit the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena on Saturday evening. The Wizards have been sensational this season, especially on home court and will make life difficult for their visitors. Go with Washington to pick up the win, with the over also looking like a great option in this contest as well.
