The Vancouver Canucks have a tough week 14 coming up in the NHL that includes a date against defending Stanley Cup champions the Tampa Bay Lightning. With the popular Canadian club in action a total of four times throughout the week, there will be a variety of hockey betting online options.

Latest Vancouver Canucks News

The Vancouver Canucks were hit hard by Covid-19 over the past couple of weeks so it remains to be seen who exactly will be out with the virus, but they are hoping to have recovered most players by the time week 14 commences.

Travis Hamonic will be out for sure during the week as is dealing with an undisclosed lower body injury. He hasn’t played since December 8th against the Boston Bruins and won’t feature for Vancouver in week 14 either. Michael Ferland also remains out of action with a head injury. He hasn’t played at all this season and likely won’t be seen until at least next year.

Week 14 Vancouver Canucks Preview

The Vancouver Canucks have been one of the bigger disappointments of the season as they haven’t quite been able to live up to expectations. While nobody was considering them a Stanley Cup contender, they were expected to perform better than they have been to start the season. They find themselves near the basement of the Pacific Division and are desperate to crawl out of it.

The franchise cleaned house in December by firing head coach Travis Green and general manager Jim Benning. It remains to be seen what the impact will be going forward but new head coach Bruce Boudreau has definitely been a breath of fresh air for the club.

Vancouver’s biggest issue has been the inability to find the back of the net, as they have one of the worst offensive records in the league. It has been apparent that Boudreau has been working hard to fix the problem, but it will take time. Vancouver have a daunting week 14 ahead of them as well with four very tough games on the schedule, so don’t expect to see the Canucks move up the standings anytime soon.

Vancouver Canucks at Florida Panthers Picks

The Vancouver Canucks head south of the border to take on the Florida Panthers at BB&T Center on Tuesday night. The Panthers have been one of the best teams to start the season and will be looking forward to hosting Vancouver. Go with the home team to win big with the over also worth wagering on.

Vancouver Canucks at Tampa Bay Lightning Picks

The Tampa Bay Lightning welcome the Florida Panthers to Amalie Arena on Thursday evening as they look to solidify their spot atop the Atlantic Division. The Canucks will have a difficult time keeping up with the Lightning and should be in for a long night. Go with Tampa Bay to win big.

Vancouver Canucks at Carolina Hurricanes Picks

It doesn’t get any easier for the Vancouver Canucks, who visit the Carolina Hurricanes at PNC Arena on Saturday night in another difficult contest. The Hurricanes have had a brilliant start to the campaign and will not have any problems against the Canucks. Go with Carolina to win in their own building with the over worth a look.

Vancouver Canucks at Washington Capitals Picks

A day after playing the Hurricanes in Carolina, the Vancouver Canucks are forced to travel to Washington to play Alexander Ovechkin and the Capitals. Both the home team and the over should be a lock in this one.
