The Tampa Bay Lightning continue their chase of top spot in the competitive Atlantic Division during a critical week 14 in the NHL regular season. With the defending Stanley Cup champions in action a total of four times throughout the week, expect there to be plenty of interesting hockey betting online.

Latest Tampa Bay Lightning News

The Tampa Bay Lightning could be missing several players during week 14 of the NHL regular season, including superstar Nikita Kucherov. The 28-year-old was injured back on October 16th against the Washington Capitals and hasn’t been able to return since. He is nearing a comeback though and the Lightning are hoping to have him back in the lineup sooner rather than later.

Defenseman Zach Bogosian is also expected to miss some time during the week, as he was injured against the Florida Panthers on December 30th. There are not many details about the injury as it remains undisclosed, but don’t be surprised if he is out for the entire week.

Week 14 Tampa Bay Lightning Preview

The back-to-back Stanley Cup champions are proving why they are one of the most feared teams in the league, as they look just as motivated as ever to win a third straight championship. They are battling for top spot in the difficult Atlantic Division with the likes of the Florida Panthers and Toronto Maple Leafs, which should prove to be an entertaining race all season long.

As a result, the Lightning need to be on their toes and cannot afford to take many nights off if they plan on clinching the division during the regular season. Tampa Bay have been just as good on the road this season as they have been on home ice at Amalie Arena, so the fact they will be playing two home games and two road games during the upcoming week shouldn’t affect them too much.

The Lightning will be playing inferior competition in all four games and have a real opportunity to take home eight points to help solidify top spot in the Atlantic. It’ll be worth keeping an eye on Tampa Bay throughout the week as they play a total of four games.

Tampa Bay Lightning at New Jersey Devils Picks

The Tampa Bay Lightning visit the New Jersey Devils on Monday evening in a game they will be looking forward to. Take Tampa Bay to win by multiple goals in New Jersey, with the over also worth wagering on in what should be a high-scoring affair.

The Tampa Bay Lightning travel to take on the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday night – a day after playing the Devils in New Jersey. Regardless of the busy schedule though, take Tampa Bay to get the job done in Buffalo as they should have no issues getting past the Sabres.

Vancouver Canucks at Tampa Bay Lightning Picks

On Thursday night, the Vancouver Canucks take on the Tampa Bay Lightning on the road in what could prove to be a blowout. The Canucks have struggled this season and Tampa Bay will look to send their fans home happy. Go with the Lightning to win their third in a row.

Dallas Stars at Tampa Bay Lightning Picks

The Dallas Stars will be dreading their trip to Tampa Bay on Saturday night as they remain one of the worst teams in the league on the road. This should be another win on home ice for the Lightning as they look to collect their eighth point of the week.
