The Seattle Seahawks look to avoid their third consecutive loss when they visit Washington Football Team in prime time on Monday night football. There’s always plenty of action and options when it comes to football betting online on Monday evenings and week 12 will certainly be no exception.

Past Meetings

These two teams met on December 20th last season, with the Seattle Seahawks coming away with the 20-15 victory on the road. The Seahawks have now won three of their last four games against Washington, but trail the all-time series 12-9.

Team News

Washington Football Team could be without tight end Ricky Seals-Jones on Monday night, as he suffered a hip injury against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week 10. He missed Washington's last game against the Carolina Panthers and will likely be out for this one as well.

The Seattle Seahawks are not entirely healthy either and will probably be without corner back D.J. Reed for the second consecutive week. He was out of action in Seattle's loss to the Green Bay Packers, despite being able to return to practice. His status remains questionable, but don't be surprised to see him on the bench.

Seattle Seahawks at Washington Football Team Preview and Predictions

The season hasn't gone according to plan for either the Seattle Seahawks or Washington Football Team, who both find themselves outside of the playoff picture looking in. While there is a slight chance that one of the teams may be able to sneak into the postseason if they can manage to turn things around, it is highly unlikely given that we are already in week 12 of the NFL campaign.

The Seattle Seahawks really suffered without starting quarterback Russel Wilson in the lineup, but even now that he is back in action the team have still not been able to pick up momentum. They are coming off of back-to-back losses against the Arizona Cardinals and Green Bay Packers and will be desperate to pick up a win in Washington on Monday night.

Washington Football Team somehow managed to top the NFC East last season, but that certainly won't be the case this season. They are coming off consecutive wins against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers though, so nothing is impossible just yet. They have been really impressive over the past couple of weeks and if they can continue to play like they have shown they are capable of, then the sky is the limit.

Washington enter the game as slight 1-point favorites in a tight contest. They can also be backed on the moneyline to win the game with odds of 1.86. The visitors can be backed to pick up a big win on the road with odds listed at 1.95.

Recommended Picks

Washington -1 at 1.95

This will be a close contest, but Washington have been really good in recent weeks and they should be able to pick up the win on home field.

Over 47 at 1.90

Neither team has been particularly great at stopping the ball and we could see plenty of points scored on Monday night at FedEx Field.
