Real Madrid host Athletic Bilbao in their final game of 2019, with Zinedine Zidane’s side looking to maintain their unbeaten home record this season. The Basques though loving nothing more than getting one over the capital club.

Real Madrid continue to have issues in defence, with Marcelo still out of action, meaning Ferland Mendy should continue at left back.
Athletic Bilbao face issues at both ends of the pitch ahead of the trip to the Spanish capital, with defenders Ander Capa suspended and Yery Alvarez sidelined through injury.
Whilst key pair Aritz Aduriz and Iker Muniain are both out of action until the new year.

Zidane’s side look well placed to push Barcelona all the way in the La Liga title race in the second half of the season, after a strong run of recent form.
Their record of no defeats at the Santiago Bernabeu is now at 11 games in all competitions in 2019-20.
The visitors have also enjoyed a positive run of recent form, with just one La Liga defeat in their last seven games.
However their form away from San Mames has not been great, with three losses in their last five games on the road.
Gaizka Garitano’s side will cause problems for Real Madrid, but the hosts should have enough to register another win – priced at 0.36.
Los Blancos have struggled have however struggled to keep clean sheets so far this season, with just one successful shoutout in their last seven games, at home to bottom of the table Espanyol.
