Norwich City vs. Wolves Predictions, Betting Tips and Previews

Can struggling Norwich get a victory against an in-form Wolves side with aspirations of cracking into the Champions League? The Canaries haven’t won since a 2-0 victory against Everton three weeks ago, while Wolves are always dangerous.

Past Meetings

Norwich have had a good record against Wolves in recent years, winning three out of their last five encounters. Wolves’ last victory come in a 2-0 win in October 2017.

Team News

The home side are sweating on the fitness of top scorer Teemu Pukki, who suffered a toe injury in the 1-1 draw against Leicester City. The German could be in serious doubt for the game but will be monitored on a day-by-day basis.

Wolves have no new injury worries going into the game, although midfield lynchpin Ruben Neves is at risk of being suspended for the next game, with the Portuguese star on four yellow cards.

Norwich vs. Wolves Preview and Predictions

Wolves have stuttered as of late. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have only won once in the last five games in the league, after a lightening start to the campaign.

However with European football secure after Christmas and with no Thursday night football for a further six weeks, you expect his side to put together a good run over the festive period. They’re available at 1.95 to get back on track here.

Norwich will find it tough if Pukki doesn’t recover from his toe injury. The Canaries don’t score a lot of goals with the Finland international in the side so if he is absent, it’s hard to say where the goals will come from.

It’s 3.75 for the home win and 3.80 for the draw, but it’s difficult to see anything other than an away victory.

Recommended Bets

Wolves to win 2-0 at 10.50

It’s difficult to envision anything other than a Wolves win. They simply have too much quality in every area of the pitch compared to the struggling home side, and could get it by a few goals.

Wolves to win in each half at 1.48

Wolves have scored a lot of their goals in the first half of games, but with Norwich’s frugal nature in front of goal, expect Wolves to win both halves.
