30 October 2019
Saturday 2 November
Ciutat de Valencia – La Liga
La Liga giants Barcelona head to Levante this weekend, as they look to extend their lead at the top. Levante are mostly hoping to avoid being dragged closer to the bottom three.
Barcelona won home and away in La Liga against Levante last season, along with a 4-2 aggregate win in the Copa del Rey.
Barcelona defender Gerard Pique returns to the squad after he missed the 3-0 win at Eibar through suspension.
However Ousmane Dembele remains suspended, with Sergi Roberto and Samuel Umtiti are also sidelined through injury.
Levante have no fresh injury concerns, with Rober Pier and Oier Olazabal still long term injury absentees. Enis Bardhi, Hernani and Sergio Postigo are all fit to return.
Levante vs. Barcelona Preview and Predictions
Levante host Barcelona on the back of two La Liga defeats, following consecutive 1-0 defats against Sevilla and Leganes.
Paco Lopez’s side have maintained a mid-table position, but they have won just one of their last seven league games.
Barcelona have recovered from an early season stumble to push ahead with their La Liga title defence in recent weeks.
Ernesto Valverde’s side head down the coast to Levante on the back of a six game winning run.
An away win looks like a given here, but Levante have proven to be a tough nut to crack, and this could be a low scorer – with an under 2.5 total goals scored bet available at 1.75.
With that in mind, a Barcelona win with under 2.5 goals scored also comes in at 3.5.
Barcelona to win 2-0 at 7.5
Valverde’s side are still giving the sense of not being fully up to speed, despite their consistent La Liga form. However they should have more than enough to get past Lopez’s side.
Lionel Messi to score anytime at 0.4
Messi is back in the Barcelona team after an injury disrupted start to the season, and he is bang in form for La Blaugrana.
The Argentine has scored in his last three games, and he will be looking to keep that going in this game.
