Wednesday 22 January
King Power Stadium – Premier League
Leicester are looking to solidify their top four place as they welcome struggling West Ham to the King Power Stadium. The Hammers, meanwhile, need to improve their away form.
Leicester won 2-1 away at West Ham a few weeks ago, and Brendan Rodgers’ side have lost just one of their last 11 games against the Hammers in league and cup action.
Rodgers has no new injury worries to deal with for this game, but he could opt to rotate some players ahead of a busy run of games, with Wes Morgan, Christian Fuchs and Kelechi Iheanacho potentially coming into the side.
David Moyes also has some good news on the injury front, with Michail Antonio, Felipe Anderson and Arthur Masuaku all back fit.
Leicester vs. West Ham Predictions, Preview and Predictions
Leicester have seen their excellent form hit a few stumbling blocks in recent weeks, with Manchester City now edging ahead of them into second in the table.
But the Foxes have generally been very consistent at home so far this season, with just two defeats in all competitions in 2019-20.
West Ham have shown some improvements following the return of Moyes, but they are yet to win away from the London Stadium under him.
The Scottish boss has a tough task ahead to keep them out of the relegation zone, and this will be a real test for the visitors.
Despite Leicester not being at their flowing best at the moment, they should have enough to pick up all three points – priced at 1.53.
And the hosts can still be relied on to score goals, with over 2 or more scored in four of their last five games in all competitions. With that in mind, they are priced at 2.43 to pick up all three points with over 2.5 total goals scored in the game.
Leicester City to win 2-1 at 9.25
Rodgers will be determined not to let Leicester slip off in the coming weeks, and three points are a must here to ward off concerns over their Top Four spot.
Jamie Vardy to score anytime at 1.71
The Premier League’s leading goal scorer is back fit, and Leicester need him back amongst the goals. He was rested for the 2-1 win at the London Stadium in December 2019, but he has three goals in his last six games against West Ham.
