Lecce vs. Juventus Predictions, Betting Tips and Previews
24 October 2019
Saturday 26 October
Via Del Mare– Serie A
Serie A leaders Juventus host Lecce this weekend, as they look to extend their lead at the top of the table. Cristiano Ronaldo will be looking to get in the goals again.
Lecce actually have quite a good record against the Old Lady of Italian football, holding them to a 1-1 draw at the Juventus Stadium in their last meeting in the 2011-12 season, and winning 2-0 at home in the previous campaign.
Lecce boss Roberto Rizzo has a fully fit squad ahead of the visit of the defending champions, with Filippo Falco and Zan Majer shaking off minor knocks.
Maurizio Sarri will wait until close to kick off to make a decision on Aaron Ramsey, with Danilo also in line for return.
However Douglas Costa is still out, alongside long term absentees Giorgio Chiellini and Mattia De Sciglio.
Lecce vs. Juventus Preview and Predictions
Lecce has found it tough going following their return to the Italian top flight, with just two Serie A wins so far this season.
However they will have received a boost, after a last minute goal from Marco Calderoni secured a 2-2 draw against Milan at the San Siro.
Juventus are a point ahead of second place Inter Milan, with an unbeaten start to the season for Sarri’s side in domestic and European action.
They are yet to really hit top gear so far in 2019-20, but they already look stronger than their rivals, as they push for another Serie A title.
Lecce showed real spirit against Stefano Pioli’s side, but Juve should have more than enough to pick up another win, with an away victory priced at 0.3.
Sarri’s side have created a eat habit of scoring in each half in recent games, with at least a goal either side of half time in their last five Serie A games.
They are priced at 0.9 to do that again this weekend.
Juventus to win 2-0 at 6.0
Juventus are always under pressure to win in Serie A, and so far, Sarri looks likely to continue their dominance of Italian football.
Lecce are showing signs that they can avoid relegation at the end of the campaign, but they will be up against it this weekend.
Cristiano Ronaldo to score anytime at 0.4
Ronaldo is leading the way in goals for Juventus so far this season, as he looks to better his 21 Serie A goals from last season.
He has four goals already this season, and will be Juventus’ go-to man, if Lecce are making life difficult for Juventus.
